Built on a rich history, our mission is to continue delivering exceptional terrazzo flooring through expert craftsmanship, uncompromising quality, and integrity in every project. We strive to create durable, distinctive surfaces that stand the test of time.

The History
Associated Terrazzo Company, Inc. is a Northern California terrazzo contractor built on craftsmanship, lasting relationships, and pride in every floor we install. Since 1975, we have worked alongside architects, designers, general contractors, owners, and local communities to bring high-quality terrazzo projects to life. The company was founded in South San Francisco, California, by Osvaldo Lourenco, Afro Bomben, and Eugene Pacini, three immigrants whose dedication and work ethic shaped the values that still guide us today. The business remained in South San Francisco until 1998, when it relocated to San Francisco.
When the founding partners retired at the end of 1993, Osvaldo’s family proudly continued the company’s legacy. Eddie Lourenco, Osvaldo’s son, and Dennis Rocha, Osvaldo’s son-in-law, carried the business forward with the same hands-on approach, pride in the craft, and commitment to quality terrazzo installation.
In July 2012, Dennis Rocha retired, and his son, Scott Rocha, joined the ownership team to continue the
family’s involvement in the business.
The company also welcomed Robert Fontes as a third partner, adding experience and leadership that helped position Associated Terrazzo for continued growth.
In 2023, Eddie retired, and Logan Kelley, a close friend of the Rocha family, stepped into Eddie’s role to
help carry the company forward.

Logan works closely with architects, designers, general contractors, and owners to help design, budget, and develop terrazzo project opportunities that align with each client’s goals. He also oversees office management and project management, helping keep each project organized from early planning through completion.
Scott and Rob work closely with employees and general contractors in the field to support quality workmanship, clear coordination, and dependable project schedules.
Although the terrazzo process has evolved over the years, the company’s focus has remained the same: taking care of our clients and delivering work everyone can be proud of when the project is complete.
Like the previous partners, Scott, Rob, and Logan believe the company best serves its clients by focusing on Northern California, where the team can stay closely connected to the projects, people, and communities it serves. Our employees are the heart of our company. They are dedicated to their craft, take pride in the quality of their work, and bring care and skill to every project.
We are proud to be signatory to and hire union labor through Bricklayers and Allied Crafts Local 3. Associated Terrazzo Company, Inc. is licensed, bondable, and a member of both the National Terrazzo and Mosaic Association (NTMA) and the Western States Terrazzo Association (WSTA).
